Hello! My name is Ray Ann Muro. I'm a senior at California State University, Bakersfield. I am a married mom of two boys. My boys are ages 3 and 4 months old. I am a proud mother and wife; my family is the most important aspect of my life. This project relates to me because I started fixing things around the house once I moved out and created a life for myself outside of my parents. Once I had my own home and family to care for, my mindset and perspective on things changed. That includes having to take care of stuff on my own. I started to explore my own capabilities and figuring things out for myself.
I am majoring in Child Adolescents and Family studies. I chose this major to be able to help developing children grow and flourish in proper and positive environments. I have graduated from my local community college, College of the Sequoias with an associate degree in child Adolescents development in 2021. With furthering my education, I want to be a case manager for young children who have disabilities and are delayed within their growth. I hope to be able to help many children and their parents through a plan of action that aims for the child to thrive.
