Howdy! My name is Faith Larimore. I am currently a sophomore co-enrolled at Austin Community College and Texas A&M University majoring in Nuclear Engineering.
After completing my degree, I aim to pursue a career in national defense as a Nuclear Surface Warfare Officer for the US Navy. As an engineer, my primary goal is to design and advance techniques in nuclear propulsion and energy, to enhance both power and cost-effectiveness for interstellar exploration and naval vessels equipped with nuclear engines. With these advancements, I am confident that our capacity to improve humanity through clean energy, greater transportation power, and advancements in exploration. It is this passion that fuels my desire to become a nuclear engineer and officer in the military.

I look forward to creating iFixit guides as I advocate for the mission to mitigate the negative environmental impact of electronic waste and to promote a sustainable way of life. As an engineer, I hope to further explore the electrical components of computer hardware and contribute to the realm of repair guides for all necessary fixes. Through practical experience in fixing up household items, I understand the benefits of a reliable and easy-to-follow procedure when maintaining the upkeep of property. Therefore, I aspire to assist others when they need a dependable guide.
