Hello! My name is Joe Torres and i'm a sophomore attending the Universeity of North Texas.
Education
My name is Joe Torres and I am a sophomore at the University of North Texas in Denton where I am pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science. I have a strong passion in creating efficient and exciting software. Throughout my short career, I mainly have worked on web development, mobile application development, and artificial intelligence.
Aspirations
I work in this field of Computer Science because of the impact I am able to make with just my laptop. Similarly, I love to inspire those who look to also get into the technology field especially younger students. In order to help, I am currently creating a computer science teaching program & curriculum with the support of my local libraries to eventually teach about 250+ students about computer programming. Which I am very excited to take on.
Projects
One of my favorite projects I created was an AI webcam that automatically closes my home's garage door.
Repair History
Ever since I was a young kid i've been fixing things if I were to list them all out the list would be infinite. Due to my fathers natural ability in fixing things I grew the ability to be a natural in it as well.
Hobbies
In my freetime I love playing video games and going out! I'm a very outgoing person so if you wanna do something fun sign me up!
