Hi! My name is Andre.
I'm currently a 4th year at UC Davis double majoring in Design and Japanese. I chose these majors since those were my two main interests coming out of high school, but I'm definitely leaning towards wanting to work in the design field one day (but not sure which emphasis yet).
Currently I work at the ASUCD Coffee House, an on-campus dining facility that serves hundreds if not thousands of students per day. I work in the kitchen, which involves help prepping most of the food that is served out on the line.

Design-wise, I am extremely detailed-oriented. As in, I am nit-picky and will grind through hours fixing the smallest of details before moving on. Examples include making sure a logo has the perfect angles and curve and choosing the perfect shade of a hue to match the message of a brand. You can expect thoroughly thought-out and polished work from me!
I haven't had any major repair experiences aside from conducting a few hacks to temporarily fix some stuff like toys and simple household objects, but I always wanted to learn more about repair since design can draw connections to it as both are methods of improving something. By participating in an iFixit project, I hope to learn more how we can not only find the most efficient way to repair something, but to also communicate and pass down that knowledge clearly to other people in desperate need of guides.
