Hello! My name is Tia Fong. I am a 3rd year at UC Davis majoring in Design. Despite initially coming into university on a pre-med track, I was greatly inspired by the seamless design of regular, everyday items which lead me to my pivot towards design. I hope to work in product design and packaging in the future.
While I don't have much experience in repairs, I've always had an interest in exploring builds. Below is an image of my favorite keyboard I've customized.
As an aspiring designer, this project offers me practice to shape an experience and product around an audience. It also serves as a great opportunity to draw on problem-solving skills by analyzing how each piece works in order to troubleshoot repairs.
In my free time, I love to bake, write poetry, and play video games. Here is one of my favorite moments playing Sky: Children of the Light, an indie game that fueled my passion for design with both their gameplay and merchandise.
