Hello! My name is Brenna Stafford and I am a junior at Eastern Washington University. My major is biology.

Biology has been an interest of mine ever since I was a child. I was fascinated by the inner workings of life. Everything has an origin, and I wanted to learn as much as I could about the beginnings of many things. I was always taking electronics or my toys apart because I wanted to understand why they worked the way they did. This led me to want to pursue a career in radiology. Radiology is a perfect marriage of technology and anatomy, since there are opportunities to prevent problems, as well as solving pre-existing issues.

My hobbies are all revolved around creating something from nothing. I took a sewing class when I was in middle school and created a pillow case. Taking scraps of fabric and making it into something completely different really made me feel like I created something new. I used my passion of sewing to branch out into using mixed media for my projects; old computer parts, soldering metal from old guitar pedals, patching different fabrics together to make a whole new garment. I used my imagination for these projects, and loved doing it.
