Interesting. Something has come loose inside left piece for my Aftershokz, it rattles around now - tempted to crack it open.

I’ve got the same issue. Did you manage to open it?

Sergey -

Maybe it's the microphone.

Hugo Andrade Braga -

I too would like to know how this worked, how did you get it open?

Nathaniel -

Is it possible to open without damage?

Sergey -

What's your problem? I think with care and some heating to remove the glues you can disassemble.

Would love to see an actual disassembly guide for this one. Interested to see if it's even possible to do without damage

I have the similar issue too, speaker loosen, cause rattling noise. Need to tighten it with some strong glue , no experience to open the earpiece

Thanks for doing this, Hugo. I too have the rattle. It sounds like a speaker rattle, but then I realized I can shake the headphones and something inside is completely loose. For my pair it’s the left ear, so I see from Hugo’s photo there’s a battery and a speaker in the case. I find others are drilling a hole and injecting some epoxy. What I wanted to understand is whether the objective is to glue the speaker to the inside wall (against my bone) or to the outside wall (the side with the control switch). I guess I’ll just go for it, maybe all that matters is that it’s secured to the case. Also I see all the conformal coating, so I’m wondering how the speaker was secured in the first place and whether I should use a rigid epoxy or a rubbery RTV / silicone caulk adhesive.

Mine have stopped charging. Managed to open the battery but the wires are all loose I'm not sure what should go where.

I've been having power issues as well, so came here to learn how to open it up. Are you saying that you found the battery disconnected? I got a warranty replacement, but I might try to start there on the old set if that's a known issue.

Mister Curlitop -

Charging issues here as well. Did you ever break yours down?

Denver f casto -

Not yet. Been super-busy and the most recent replacement I've received is still going strong. What I did differently is not to enable multipoint pairing. Don't know if it's related, but it's the first of several to last longer than a few days or several weeks. 🤞

Is there only one battery in the headphones? Our dogs chewed them up abs want to make sure they didn’t swallow a battery.

Thanks for sharing views of your unfortunate unplanned teardown, Hugo.
