Introduction

Use this guide to replace the auger motor assembly in an older Whirlpool side‑by‑side refrigerator

The auger motor assembly drives the auger which feeds ice to the ice dispenser located on the freezer door.

If the auger motor assembly fails the refrigerator will not dispense ice.
