    • Let’s begin by simply removing the rubber caps covering the screw holes found under the retractable stand.

    • Now that we have exposed the screws we can use our small philips-head screw driver to remove the main screws holding the two sides of the outer casing together.

    • This may be the trickiest part of the replacement of the battery in this Waka Waka. The yellow front casing is snap-fit to the (black) back casing. In order to release this connection it is easiest to pry the casing open at the top of the Waka Waka (see pictures).

    • Doing this on each side should release the casing, use careful force to lift the casing open being sure not to lose any of the internal components.

    • The back casing houses the electronic components of the Waka Waka. This system consists of 3 main components. The battery, PCB, and solar panel itself.

    • Let’s proceed by removing the battery, this is simply connected to the casing with some double sided tape and can be easily broken free.

    • Be sure not to pull on the connector and battery wires as this may damage the connection!
