Introduction
You will be cutting the strings off the tennis racket and taking off the old bumper guard. Then you are going to replace it with a new bumper guard. You will have to do the netting on your own, or take it to a store to get it done. You can either use utility scissors or nail clippers to cut the strings.

Finish cutting all of the strings off.

No pattern necessary. Make sure all of the strings are cut.

Can be cut from the center or closer to the sides of the racket.

Push the tubes(the ones that go through the racket frame) from the inside of the racket to remove the old grommets and the bumper guard. You may use your thumbs.

Use and edge of your cutting tool to push the tubes out if necessary.

As you push the tubes from the bumper guard and grommets they will start to come out.

The second picture shows the bumper guard and grommets completely removed.

Depending on your tennis racket another grommet might located at the base of the racket represented by the orange mark up. Remove it if it is present.

Align the bumper guard with the middle of the racket .

Push the top of the bumper guard onto the racket. Make sure that the tubes fit through the holes all the way.

This is how the finished tennis racket will look like.

Make sure all the tubes in the bumper guard and grommets go completely through as shown in the close up images.

Now you can take your tennis racket to get restrung and you should have a finished racket.
