Introduction

The lens mount is the part of the camera used to install lenses of various specifications. If the camera was dropped or an incompatible lens was forced on, the lens mount may be damaged. This guide will walk you through the process of replacing the lens mount; it is a silver ring with “E-mount” engraved on its surface. The lens mount is held in place with four screws and has one pin sticking through it. The only required tool is a JIS 00 screwdriver for the four screws.
