Introduction

Be sure that you have installed grip tape on your board before installing your skateboard trucks. If you have not, please see the Grip Tape Application guide. Also be aware of the type of hardware you have. This will decide whether you need an Allen Wrench or a Phillips Head Screwdriver.

  4. BXtLQ1eRNVI2gflh
    • While holding the nuts on the bottom side of the skateboard in place with the 3/8" wrench, tighten the screws from the top side of the skateboard with a screwdriver. Tighten the screws in a diagonal pattern until the head of the screw sinks slightly into the grip tape.

    • Repeat steps 1 - 6 to install the second truck.

Conclusion

To uninstall your trucks, simply follow these steps in reverse order. To continue assembling your skateboard deck, see the Wheel Installation guide.
