Introduction

This guide will provide instructions on how to replace single keys on the keyboard of a Samsung N145 laptop. You will be given steps on how to detach a single key on your device and attach a new one. You will want to perform this replacement if only one or two keys do not correlate with what is being pushed, or does not work, but does not need the whole keyboard replaced.

  1. ovldBcaxy4BAJhVR
    • Before starting the replacement, turn off the device and disconnect all cords.

    • Close the device, lay it face down, and remove the battery.

  2. YoPSVyMFwc5XIOxk
    • Open the device with the keyboard and screen showing.

  3. d3owulY6qnljxpNq
    • Loosen the chosen key by prying all four corners with a plastic opening tool.

    • Push the plastic opening tool under the key and carefully pull upwards until the key comes loose and pops off.

  4. RR24h2NkHOGTQYJo
    • Slowly grab the loose key away from the keyboard.

    • Be careful to leave the plastic pieces underneath the key in tact and unmoved. If plastic pieces do get moved, take tweezers and lift them back into place.

Only shows how to remove a key but it doesnt show how to put back! So its not a replacement only a removal guide! Title is misleading.
