Introduction
Use this guide to repair a stained wooden cabinet door. The time frame for a single door can range between 35-55 minutes. If you are planning to have multiple cabinet doors then the process will take you longer. Each step shouldn't take you more than a couple of minutes. This includes sanding, which only requires making the wood somewhat rough.
Before using this guide, make sure you have all the tools at hand to make the process as simple and seamless as possible. Typically most cabinet doors are white but obviously, make sure you have the appropriate paint that corresponds with the color of your cabinets. In my guide, I use a sander, but any piece of sandpaper and a little bit of effort will achieve the rough texture you are looking for to make the wood porous.
When reinstalling the cabinet door back onto the cabinet in the 7th step, it will probably help if you have another person to assist you with holding the door. It can be quite extraneous to hold the door up and screw the door back in.
