Introduction

Is your headlamp failing to maintain a stable, upright position? You may need to replace the mount assembly.

  1. jYgeVPEAbmvJPTVL
    • Check the mount assembly for a loose or missing nut and/or bolt.

  2. D4VCyWZlOdf3dHNo
    • Remove the old nut and bolt by using a Phillips head screwdriver to rotate the bolt counterclockwise until it becomes free. The nut should become free on its own as the bolt is removed. If it doesn't, poke the nut out using the screwdriver.

  3. 5kKkETtGTiCcWKZr
    • Insert the new nut by placing it in the left side of the circular hole created after the removal of the old nut & bolt in step 2.

  4. 3NkqXKruYybkrrdg
    • Insert the threaded portion of the new bolt with the washer into the right side of the circular hole created by the removal of the old nut & bolt in step #2.

  5. wLoQ1EyDfJeJNEGb
    • Firmly hold the nut in place with your left thumb such that the nut will not rotate.

  6. IaXm2xVSlCvRLmK5
    • Tighten the new bolt into the new nut by turning the bolt clockwise using a Phillips head screwdriver until the bolt & nut are tight.
