Introduction
Rust can appear after a few years inside a microwave, particularly to the area the tray rollers run over. This guide covers cleaning and applying touch up paint to the affected areas.
What paint do I use inside the microwave oven?
The solution is a paint that resists high temperatures and at the same time is suitable for food use and free of toxics.
Tools
Parts
-
-
Remove the glass tray and roller ring
-
Remove the stuck rust with steel wool.
-
Wipe away any debris with a dry cloth
-
-
-
Shake the tin
-
Apply a thin coat with the brush
-
Give the paint at least 6 hours to dry
-
Apply 1 or 2 more coats as appriopriate
-
-
-
Allow time for the paint coatings to dry properly, ideally overnight with the door open.
-
Replace roller ring and tray. Plug your oven to the power outlet.
-
You are now ready to use your microwave oven again!

The mention set so many individuals at multiple sites off to saying things about toxic fumes and other ridiculous things. there’s even a special paint Amazon sells!!! https://www.google.com/search?client=fir...
