Introduction
Have you ever broken that favorite picture frame you just couldn't simply throw away and get rid of? My guide will accomplish the fix of a picture frame, and repairing the broken piece to make it brand new. Completing this fix, a few helpful tips to look out for is making sure you have the correct tools, this fix is an important part in making sure you get to show off that favorite photo! Be aware of any sharp items and hazardous chemicals to the skin as well.

Pull back the metal clips that hold the frame, you may use the pliers to pull them back if needed.

Remove the back of the frame and find a safe spot for it. You will need it at the end of the guide to put it back together.

If the glass seem's to be cracked, handle the frame gently and wear gloves to prevent injury

After clamps are lifted, carefully remove glass out of the frame. You may use the pliers for this step to lift the clamps

If glass is broken as mentioned in the first step, carefully remove it with safety gloves to prevent from injury

Begin to pull apart any loose joints that may be embedded in the frame with the needle nose pliers

Begin to sand off the finish with the sandpaper if the frame appears to be scratched or damaged in any way

Sand by hand, this appears to be the easiest way to approach the wood, going along with the grain.

Continue to sand out the scratches until smooth as you remove the finish.

If you proceeded to sand the frame, or not, restoring the color of the wood gives it a great finish and shine.

Take your paint brush and lightly dip it into the stain, covering all parts of the frame. Proceed to let sit for 1 hour until dry.

Using carpenter glue, glue the joint(s) back together and apply pressure when pressing sides together using your hands.

You may use clamps on the joints if repairing all four sides of the frame, for better structure.

Let glue sit to dry overnight.

After letting sit overnight, your glue should be dry and your frame should be as good as new!

Be sure to replace any glass that may had been broken when the frame collapsed.

Measure any dimensions with a tape measure to get an exact measurement of the glass, then cut with a glass cuter.

Insert new glass onto frame, and push down side clamps.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
