Do you have a hole in your winter gloves?
Then this will be a great guide to follow. This guide will teach you how to fix your gloves with a needle and thread by hand sewing.
Follow the instructions below to restore your winter gloves.
Tools
-
-
Hold the needle with your thumb and index finger.
-
Insert one end of the thread into the eye of the needle.
-
Pull the thread through the needle about halfway.
-
-
-
Find both ends of the thread.
-
Line the ends of the thread together.
-
Create a knot at the end of the thread.
-
-
-
Using your dominant hand, insert the needle as close to the edge of the hole as possible.
-
Pull the needle and all of the thread through the glove.
-
-
-
Thread the needle to the other side of the glove to create a straight stitch.
-
Repeat steps 7 and 8 until you reach the other end of the hole.
-
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
One comment
I found a typo.
On step 8, it says, "Thread the needle to the other side of the glove." This doesn't make sense. Did you mean PUSH the needle?
You already covered threading the needle in step 3. It's not possible to "thread a needle to the other side" of something.
