Introduction
Many eyeglass users deal with broken or loose eyeglass arms and this is often caused by warped arm joints. It can be quite costly to get new glasses or to repair glasses without insurance for many. The joints on a pair of eyeglasses are made of thin metal to keep them compact. This causes them to be easily bent or broken, leading many to toss or replace their glasses. You may find that a minor defect like a bent arm joint may render the equipment unusable. Instead of replacing the whole piece, a simple repair will save you money from replacing a pair of glasses.
Use this guide to help you repair your eyewear. This repair is fairly straightforward and demands minimal equipment. Follow the steps to repair a warped arm joint and replace the screw that allows for the eyeglasses to tighten.
