Introduction

If your soccer ball is flat, follow this simple guide to fix it and get back to playing!

This solution works for soccer balls with small exterior or interior damage. If your ball has large holes or gashes, this guide isn’t for you.

Damage to a soccer ball can be caused by many factors, including (but not limited to): wear and tear, playing on sharp or rough surfaces, and being chewed on by a pet. After completing this repair guide, make sure to play with and store your soccer ball responsibly to ensure it remains functional!

Note: This guide requires the use of tire sealant, which can irritate the eyes and skin on contact and is hazardous if swallowed. You’ll also need a needle and syringe, which can cause puncture wounds if used improperly. Handle these materials with care.

Step 1

Attach the needle to the syringe.
Inserting & using a needle can cause a puncture injury. Please handle with care.

Step 2

Insert the needle into the butyl valve of the ball.

Step 3

Rotate the ball so the syringe is facing upwards.
Fill the syringe with 20 - 30 ml of tire sealant.
Avoid direct contact with tire sealant; it can irritate eyes and skin, and is hazardous if swallowed.
