Using the needle nosed pliers, squeeze the closure so that the ends of the link are flush with one another.

Test the closure by gently pulling it from either side. If it comes apart repeat steps 4 and 5.

My very new chain had broken a day after my birthday .. and the chain is very special so of course I was panicking trying to figure out how to fix it . I found this website and i fixed it within 10 minutes.
