Introduction

You will need to replace your belt and/or the roller brush if the brush on the vacuum head fails to spin.

The belt and roller brush are one assembly, so in order to replace one you must remove the other.

Before you begin the repair process ensure that your vacuum is turned off and unplugged

    • Remove the four 20 mm Phillips #1 head screws holding the top cover on.

    • Lift off the cover.

    • Grab on both ends of the roller brush, lifting it and the attached belt clear of the housing.

    • Reinstall belt and roller making sure that the white text is facing outwards on the belt.

    • Placing the roller brush in its guides will put some tension on the belt after the roller is in place spin it with your hand a couple times to ensure that it spins freely.
