Introduction

Does your monitor show no sign of powering on? The issue may be with your power supply. Replacing power supplies can be very dangerous, use caution as capacitors can potentially store charge for long periods of time.

    • Do not put the metal spudger between the metal and the glass. It needs to go under the bezel and above the metal.

    • Turn monitor so that the screen is facing you.

    • Pry the black bezel from above the metal by placing your metal spudger between the bezel and the metal and twisting the tool slightly.

    • The best places to pry are in the lower left and lower right corners of the black bezel.

    • Be careful of the wires attaching the power button and the control buttons. Show extreme caution to ensure the button is not damaged.

    • Lift the screen assembly from the plastic housing from the corners.

Should it be "underneath one of the device's corners"?

You might want to add a note letting users know that they should be careful of the wires attaching the assembly to the housing.

You may also want to note that the card for the power button slides out when you lift this assembly so the user might need to be told to slide the card back into its slot when installing the new screen. ( A picture of this would be a good idea)
