    • The lever opening the water inlet is obviously too thin and a breaks after even a moderately long use.

    • This is rather easy, unscrew the plastic grey screw and drill the aluminium rivet to undo the lever

    • This is a rather difficult part, I found a crop strip of steel of good thickness and width. Here about 3mm thick.

    • The worst part of it is to create a "oblong" hole in it to replace the initial plastic moulded part.

    • I did this with my small milling machine. If you do not have this machine, you might find some alternative, but this is definitely the most demanding part.

    • Again, not very easy, I bend the strip approximately to match the inital lever.

    • The revolute joint is of the knuckle type, here I used a piece of oak wood to it. It is quite tricky to model the wood to the curvature of the bended metal strip. Both are quite strong. I used combination of jigsaw, milling machine, grinder etc to obtain the final result.

    • A paint on the steel part will be necessary to provide rust resistance.
