Introduction

Quick, and affordable, replacement of the silicone wristband for the Garmin Forerunner 25.

Wristband I used with screwdrivers can be purchased on Amazon. This is one of many options available and I chose this one somewhat randomly. I'm not an employee of this seller or a paid sponsor/promoter. Use whatever works for you.

    • Assemble the watch with the broken wristband, along with the replacement parts. I don't have many specific suggestions here. I just googled watchband replacement for the Garmin Forerunner 25 and found this package for $6.99 on Amazon. It came with the small screwdrivers you will need to swap out the wristband, so I considered this a good price.

    • Pretty simple, but insert one screwdriver on either side and hold one in place while loosening the other side (lefty loosey, rightey tightey). It takes more turning than initially expected, but comes apart eventually into two interlocking screws.

    • Align new watch band, insert the screws, and do the inverse of what you did to tighten the screws through the watchband, rightey tightey.

    • Repeat the same removal and replacement steps on the other side. This was my first time doing it, and as you can see from the timing on the watch it took me less than 15 minutes total. New silicone band is quite comfortable and sturdy. In all, it took about 5 days for the band to be delivered and $6.99 total, plus 15 mins to replace myself.

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
