Introduction

In order to keep your camera functioning properly, and working battery is vital. A dead or drained battery will prevent the camera from turning on, taking photos, using flash, etc. Replacing the battery or removing for charge is quick and simple.

    • Slide the lower silver tab labeled "1"down.

    • Slide the upper silver tab labeled "2"down. Once the second tab is flipped, the door will spring open.

    • Slide small orange tab to release the battery.

    • Simply insert the new battery following the black arrow printed on the battery, matching the orange side of the battery to the orange rubber of the inner battery door.

    • The orange tab will automatically move to hold the battery in place upon insertion.
