Introduction

Today a lighter is used more than ever and having the means to replace a part on it can go a long way, especially for your pockets. Clipper lighters have the ability to replace the flint so why not take advantage of this and replace the flint instead of buying a new one each time. Plus it's way more eco-friendly!

This replacement should take no time at all and is something absolutely anyone can do; just be sure to have bought your replacement flint.

You are Man of the Month. You saved me making a complete fool of myself. I was unable, after many attempts, to change the flint and was making a visual record to post on-line saying they were useless flint-wise. Thanks again.

Worked like a charm thank you!

I've got the metal Clipper with a cap over the wheel (EU version). Instead of flicking the wheel with your thumb, you press down on the cap/switch. Now my flint's exhausted and I can't figure out how to remove the cap to change it! Does anyone know?

Is it a flint lighter, It sounds like an electric clipper jet lighter. The only flint CLIPPER lighter I know of with a cap over the wheel is the Clipper petrol lighter

I wish I could enter a picture in The comment, however, if you get the small Refillable butane bottle. There are 2 flints in every cap.! The little yellow neon ultra refined refillable universal Butane. Just an FYI!!

Thank you, I really like the design of your flint striker (not sure of right term, hope you know what I mean) plus lighter is easy for me to handle.
