Introduction
Follow this guide to adjust the carburetor on a 2019 Echo Power Pruner model PPT-2620.
This procedure requires running the motor for several minutes. Only run the motor outside or in a large, well-ventilated room. Do not run the motor in an enclosed space.
Wear ear protection while the motor is running.

Feed the inductive pickup lead wire through one of the two holes in the lower-left corner of the tachometer.

Bend the wire around and feed it through the second hole, then pull it tight.

Use a Phillips screwdriver to adjust the carburetor idle screw until the tachometer reads as close to 3100 RPM as possible:

Once the idle has been set, shut off the motor and disconnect the tachometer.
