Introduction
If your cabinet door is not closing, or if the hinge is damaged, use this guide to replace the hinge and screws in order for the cabinet to close properly.
Without a sturdy hinge and screws, the cabinet will not close properly and could potentially completely come off.
Before using this guide, check the hinge to make sure the screws don’t need to just be screwed in a little tighter. Sometimes, the screws have just gotten loose and need to be tightened without replacing the hinge.
Step 3 requires you to completely remove the hinge and add a new one. From there, you will need to attach and screw the new hinge in place.
Before beginning, make sure you have help in order to hold the cabinet and have someone to help screw in the screws.
