Introduction

    • flip speaker over onto its back

    • using a heat gun, soften the adhesive holding the ring in place.

    • peel off the ring that covers the screws

    • using your screwdriver, undo the 4 screws that hold the base onto the body of the speaker.

    • using your heat gun, apply a slight amount of heat to soften the adhesive.

    • during reassembly, apply the new adhesive.

    • using your screwdriver, undo the 4 screws holding the speaker assembly in place.

    • carefully pry in the edge of the speaker assembly.

    • be very careful when prying as it is still connected to the motherboard wires.

    • using a spludger, carefully disconnect the speaker cables from the motherboard.

    • be very careful not to damage the connector.

    My battery cable is soldered to a daughter board.. soundlink mini 11. 416912.

    • using your spludger, carefully pry up the battery.

    • be very careful not to puncture the battery.

    • using 2 fingers, pinch the connector connecting the battery and pull it straight out.
