I have no sophisticated device to unglue the bezel. What I did is use a small kitchen oven. The top of the oven becomes hot when I’m using it. I set it to 6 (180C), then I placed the digitiser assembly face down on the top of the oven (not inside!). After 5 minutes, I inserted a kitchen knife between digitiser and bezel and separated them.

In order to clean the bezel, I recommend to use alcohol. I tried with nail polish remover and it is too strong, it damages the bezel. Alcohol is less aggressive and it will take a little more mechanical effort, yet I could do it.

After I cleaned the bezel, I removed the protective film off the inner side of the digitiser. I removed the protecting straps of the double sided tape, then carefully pulled the flat cable through the hole and glued the digitiser with the bezel to form the digitiser assembly.

The digitiser shouldn’ Be stained as you just removed the protecting film. The screen might well be dirty. Remember it is highly sensitive to touch. Therefore, I used a dry cloth to softly brush off the small glass pieces. Don’t overdo, just brush them off without exercising any pressure.
