Introduction
Use this guide to replace a broken dryer-door handle in your Amana NGD4655EW1 Dryer Machine.
One of the main problems with these handles is that they are made with flimsy plastic. This means that after a few years of use, the handle might break entirely. When this happens, your dryer machine becomes virtually unusable.
Before using this guide, be sure to practice how to use a rubber mallet and the center punch tool. This is because you're going to have to use these tools on the door of your dryer machine and it could be tricky if you haven't had much practice.

-
-
Place the point of a center punch in the middle of a mark.
-
Take a rubber mallet and lightly hit the top of the center punch to make an indentation in the dryer door.
-
Repeat this process for the other three marks.
-
-
-
Line up the holes in your new handle with the holes in the dryer door.
-
Screw the Tek screws in the holes previously made, securing the handle into the dryer door.
-
You should now have a fully functional door handle for your Amana dryer machine!
