Introduction

If your Nissan 350z has hesitation in acceleration or excessive vibration, follow this guide to replace the Cylinder 2 ignition coil and spark plug.

The failure of a coil pack or spark plug will cause your car's Check Engine Light to illuminate. The code is P0302 (Cylinder 2 Misfire).

Before using this guide use an OBD2 scanner to check for a misfire check engine light code. This service is free at some auto parts stores such as AutoZone.

Before beginning this repair turn off your car, and put it in park. In addition, make sure the car battery is completely disconnected.
