*ALWAYS BE SURE TO USE A 3D PRINTER IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA*
The Da Vinci Jr.1.0 features a 5.9 x 5.9 x 5.9 print bed, a single extruder, and a full, ventilated (with a small fan) enclosed. It can print from files stored on the included SD card, as well as from a USB cable. The latter function requires the XYZware desktop application. This program does not allow you to create 3D objects, you can import most STL files, scale and move them to the optimal printing position, and send them to the printer to print.
For what the Da Vinci lacks in print size or computer program quality, it makes up for in price - around $350 USD (varies by vendor). For a(n almost) fully assembled printer (it requires some tubes to be connected on opening), this is a great price. However, the printer only works with XYZ filament and is limited to PLA (please verify).
Though it has some downsides, the Da Vinci Jr. 1.0 is, overall, a reliable, high-quality printer, and is especially good to beginners in the field or casual hobbyists interesed in making small items or fabricating smaller utilities.
