Background Information
Oracle VM VirtualBox is a type-2 hypervisor made for x86 virtualization developed by the Oracle Corporation. Originally the VirtualBox software was created by Innotek GmbH software company, before being bought by what is now known as the Oracle Corporation in 2008. VirtualBox was released under the terms of the GNU General Public License and CDDL for most files of the source distribution. VirtualBox is free and open-source software.
