Background and Identification
Device Name: UP! Plus 2
Release Date: June 1st, 2013
This particular printer was the first to offer automatic bed leveling and automatic height adjustments, allowing for it to be considered one of the easiest 3D printers to use on the market to date.
The earliest revisions of the printer came with optical height detection switches for the auto-leveling process which were later replaced by the more precise mechanical switches. However, the version of height detection switch will not affect your repairs, as the switch is an external part that is only used during the auto-leveling process.
