Background

TiVo Series 2 was completely redesigned from TiVo Series 1 models. It includes two USB ports, more RAM, and a new CPU. It features TiVoToGo and Home Media Engine because of its upgraded availability of network connectivity.
Identification
The TiVo Series 2 TCD24008A is encased in a clean and simple rectangular black box. The face of the box contains the TiVo logo and the sensor underneath it. To identify the TiVo device as the TCD24008A, check the back of the box and verify the Model Number is the same as TCD24008A
