Background & Identification
Released in August 2018, Sony's WH-1000XM3 headphones feature Bluetooth 4.2 and active noise cancelling, and are a direct successor to 2017’s WH-1000XM2s. Featuring a nearly identical exterior design, the XM3s gain more bridge padding, lose some weight, and sport a USB-C charging port in place of the XM2’s microUSB variant.
Available in either all-black or gray-silver, the WH-1000XM3s are priced at $350.
The Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones were succeeded by 2020’s WH-1000XM4.
