Background
Released in November, 2011, the Sony SLT A-65V is a Translucent Mirror Technology SLT camera that has a Sony Alpha/Minolta lens mount.
The A-65 is an auto and manual focus 24.3 megapixel camera that can both take pictures and record video. The Alpha-65V has a 3.0" LCD tilt and swivel screen, a built in pop-up flash, and an APS-C sensor (Advanced Photo System - Type C) which is used for high quality imaging.
The camera has a REMOTE terminal, microphone jack, HDMI terminal, USB terminal, and two external media slots for Memory sticks and/or SD/SDHC/SDXC cards. In addition, the camera comes with many modes and picture/video settings. Built-in, the camera has a Dynamic Range Optimizer Sensor, SteadyShot INSIDE Stabilization (an anti-shake sensor), GPS, microphone, and speaker.
Identification
The camera has a black plastic body with a lens mount on the front, a translucent mirror inside, and a LCD screen on the back. On the front right side there is the Greek lowercase letter alpha and the number 65. On the right side there are ports for the remote, DC power, and USB. The bottom has a battery compartment and a tripod mount.
