Background

The Sony Handycam HDR-CX380 was released in 2013. The accessories included with the new product include a rechargeable battery pack (InfoLITHIUM® NP-FV30), AC adaptor, Power Cord, HDMI(micro) Cable, and USB Cable. This camcorder also comes with a parts warranty that lasts a year and a labor warranty that lasts 90 days. Both of these are limited warranties.

The camcorder has 16GB of internal flash memory, and has connection ports that allow for SD memory cards, and a memory stick drive (pen drive). It also has a USB ports, HDMI(micro) ports, and cables for transferring pictures or videos to computers or other devices. The LCD display can operate in English, Spanish, French, or Portuguese languages.

The camera aperture is F1.8-F4.0. The focal length is 35mm. The camera’s optical zoom goes up to 30x, and its digital zoom reaches up to 350x. The camcorder’s image sensor is 3.1 mm and has approximately 2390 k pixels with and effective resolution of 2290 k pixels. This camera records video on average from 5 Mbits per second to 28 Mbits per second.
