Background and Identification

The Sony Dream Machine ICF-C211 is a clock radio made by Sony in 1985. Clock radios use a radio receiver integrated into the clock, and turn on the radio as an alarm for the user. This clock radio can access both AM and FM radio signals. Sony has made several different variations of the Dream Machine clock radio. If you don’t know which version you need to repair, their support website offers information on where the model number can be found. Usually, the model number will be on the box that the radio clock was packaged in, as well as somewhere on the clock itself.
