Troubleshooting

If you are having issues with Sony DSC-RX10M3, refer to the Troubleshooting Page

Background and Identification

This camera’s main target is professional photographers, due to the number of features it has. Overall the device has been performing very well with little complaints, the device review can be found here. The Sony DSC-RX10M3 has two models between it the Sony DSC-RX10M2 for its prequel device and the Sony DSC-RX10M4 being the sequel device. The Sony DSC-RX10M4 is the latest device releasing in 2017 with no later models to date.

The only way to identify the device is with the model version on the camera itself. Toward the right side (camera lens facing directly toward the user) there should be a “RX10M” with Roman numerals indicating its version (this device should have III). The device only comes in black. The main physical characteristics of the device are the zoom dial located on the lens, a dial on the top left to change the photography mode, it has an LCD screen at the top to indicate details like aperture, shutter speed and ISO, a large LCD at the back of the device to view menus, pictures and videos and lastly some ports on the sides for headphones, a memory card, a removable battery and an HDMI. A fun fact about this device is that it has WiFi, so it can connect to computers and TVs, over a stable connection.
