Background and Identification

It has 16.1 megapixels, and an APS HD CMOS sensor. It is ultra-lightweight and compact with an interchangeable lens. It has a touch screen for intuitive operation, with 11 different picture effect modes. It has AVCHD full HD video recording, and a tilt-able 3” extra-fine LCD with TruBlack Technology. It is similar in size to other advanced-class DSLRs. This camera became available in September of 2011, and was discontinued only a couple years after it became available (no specific date for that in my resources). The cost of it at the time was $599.99, and there were 3 other versions similar to this one, just within a year before it and 4 years after it. The slowness and the LCD screen itself were rated lowest among these 4 cameras, although the other features were given very good ratings comparatively.
