Sonos Play:5 (Gen 2)

Sonos Play:5 (Gen 2) was introduced in late 2015 and discontinued in early 2020 with the launch of it's successor, the Sonos Five. The Play:5 (get 2) and Five are identical except for improved cosmetics and newer processing hardware with more ram. The speaker drivers, amplifiers, and DSP are the same.

Disassembly between the 2015 Play:5 (Gen 2) and Sonos Five (2020-) are identical with the exception of the front grill removal.
