Identification & Background

The Sceptre X9 Komodo VII is a 4:3 aspect ratio 19'' LCD monitor that was released in 2005. The X9 Komodo VII uses dual tube florescent back-lighting for its illumination and the display has a maximum resolution of 1280x1024. The monitor uses two amplified built-in speakers that can be controlled with the front panel buttons. The X9 uses a standard detachable power connector. The video input is an analog D-sub VGA connector while the audio input is a 3.5 mm mini headphone connecter. All of these are located on the lower back of the monitor. The Sceptre X9 can be identified by the Sceptre name on the lower front bezel. The back center has the model "X9 Komodo VII" labeled for easy identification of this particular model Spectre monitor.
