Background
The Milwaukee M18 Hole Hawg is a cordless right-angle drill. It was released in 2015 by Milwaukee Tool and is a professional-grade piece of equipment used by electricians and plumbers. The standard device came with no accessories. This device is no longer being produced.
The M18 Hole Hawg was the first cordless model in Milwaukee Tool's line of right-angle drills. I was later replaced with the 2808-20 model which had an upgraded battery and motor, providing more power and speed. The 2015 edition garnered many positive reviews but also experienced some trigger malfunctions.
Milwaukee Tool was the creator of the first right angle drill in 1949, and all were cordless until 2015 with the release of the M18 Hole Hawg.
Identification
To identify the Milwaukee Hole Hog M18, the side of the device has the Milwaukee logo, and closer to the drill bit it is labeled Hole Hog. There is a white sticker with red and black font that states “M18” on the base of the drill, on the side furthest from the drill bit.
The device is red and black. It has two black handles, a D-handle, and a top handle. The D-handle is part of the body of the device, and the top handle sticks out of the top of the device. The QUIK-LOK™ chuck is black and it is located on the opposite side of the secondary handle. The trigger is located on the inside of the D-handle.
