This is due to Milwaukee’s built 4-pole frame-less motor and optimized impact mechanism. To improve communication inside the mechanism the tool uses Redlink intelligence to provide overload protection and hone the devices overall performance. Identification

The Milwaukee 2656-20 cordless ¼” hex impact driver is most recognizable by the signature red and black color Milwaukee puts on all of their tools. It will also feature a large M18 on the side of the drill and battery. The device looks like an “L” and is 5 ½” in length. The device model is found on the right side and top of the device.
