Background
The Makita 5277NB, suitable for framers, home builders, masons, and contractors, is a 7-1/4 inch hypoid circular saw replaced by the 5577NB model. The left blade design enhances visibility and offers a clear view of the cut line for accuracy. The hypoid gear system allows for increased power transmission and surface contact, while the heat-treated hypoid steel gears ensure durability compared to traditional bronze-alloy worm drive gears. The saw includes a 0° - 50° bevel cutting capacity, suitable for truss and rafter cut-outs. The gauge base plate undergoes chemical treatment to resist rust and warping. Furthermore, the saw comes with a retractable sky hook for hanging the tool and a rubberized grip designed for improved control and reduced operator fatigue.
