Background and Identification

JBL Headphones are produced by American audio equipment manufacturer JBL, a company headquartered in Los Angeles, CA. However, the company is ultimately owned by Samsung through its subsidiary Harman International, which also owns AKG, Bang & Olufsen, Harman Kardon, and Infinity.

JBL began by producing home and professional loudspeaker systems for applications at the cinema, rock concerts, in cars, and studios. Though their expertise lies mainly in speakers, they have plenty of experience with audio engineering and are able to produce competitive bluetooth and wired headphones for personal use, studio monitoring, and gaming applications.

JBL headphones can be identified by the JBL logo printed on each earcup of the headset.
