Background and Identification
The Impact 754M is a portable transport ventilator used for infants, children, and adults who have difficulty breathing on their own. It is used in clinical, hospital, aeromedical, home care, and premedical settings. It also serves as a compressor and an air and oxygen mixer. It compresses oxygen from either external oxygen and external compressed air, or from external oxygen and the device’s internal compressor. The Impact Uni-Vent Eagle Model 754 delivers this oxygen to the individual’s lungs. Its multiple ventilation modes allows the patient to select which mode is appropriate for their particular breathing needs.
